Another highlight made by CNC Technik Weiß GmbH: the first combined circular grinding lathe was delivered to our customer.
The customer pre-turns his workpieces with sectional steel and saves time-consuming, costly circular grinding rough machining. Only the finishing in a range of 1/100 is subsequently performed using the external circular grinding disk.
This is resulting in a time-saving of 40% per workpiece.

At CNC Technik Weiß customer orientation means that the required machine is adapted to the customer and to his workpieces – and not the other way around.
We deliver a complex CNC circular grinding machine to a known manufacturer of clamping tools. What makes it special is: A plane flat grinding device is swivelled in position in addition to the standard external-internal grinding via a high-precision torque B swivel axis. In this way, the customer can economically flat grind the face of the chucks and saves additional clamping on a flat grinding machine. We are able to remove e.g. an allowance of 0.4mm within 80 sec. by using a special plane grinding cycle and in this way obtain a very neat peripheral grinding of a straightness of 0.002mm.
Non-circular grinding in perfection: In connection with our new high-performance drive axes, control with Sercos interface and completely new developed software we are able to grind high-precision non-circular profiles.
A workpiece can be firstly ground circular in a clamping and subsequently ground non-circular. Since 2008 non-circular 3D profiles are particular, i.e. for non-circular profiles refer to selection table in the longitudinal grinding procedure exterior-interior circular grinding. Entering only a few parameters, our software calculates the necessary information automatically: intermediate dressing, starting in layers, everything is comfortably entered via the dialog menu.
It has been proven that Weiß is medium-sized enough to offer flexible solutions. On the other hand, it is important enough in order to be a long-term performing partner for its customers.
